Art of Kin is a contemporary needlework practice by Erra Fazira Kamaruddin, based in Kuala Lumpur, rooted in the belief that symbols tell stories words can't.

Kin's practice asks what it means to carry meaning through symbol in the body, to speak in repetition and in the patience of a needle moving through material. The outcome of the needlework is still, composed, and certain — made for those who lived it, and those who look closer.
